Ninja go cupcakes

Posted by Jeanette at 10:54 PM 0 comments

My Justin turned 5 on the 25th Feb 2007. He celebrated his birthday with his friend in school a day earlier on the 24th Feb which was a Friday. He has always been a big fan of Ninja go and asked me for Lego Ninja go for his birthday. The cupcake was the surprise for him. He was thrilled when he saw the Ninja go figurine.

I wanted to make the whole lot of figurines forhim but as I was busy the week before and suffered from back cramps earlier in that week, so this little ninja was the only one that made it on the cupcake. Needless to say, it was still a hit with kids and I'm glad to make his day special for him. Happy Birthday darling Justin!!

Old Mac Donald Had a Farm

Posted by Jeanette at 7:30 AM 1 comments

This cake was such a pleasure to make. The animals were really cute. My boy Justin just loved the pigs. Here in the pictures you'll see some pigs playing in the mud, Mother Hen with her little chicks and some feed. We have some cows, sheeps and horses in the meadow and Mother Duck with her ducklings in the pond. Bunny rabbit is right on the top of the cake.

Thanks to Junie for ordering for her son Jacob's first birthday. This was a really fun cake to make.

Sasuke Cake for Jayden's 6th Birthday

Posted by Jeanette at 10:29 PM 0 comments

This cake was made to order for my special little boy Jayden who celebrated his 6th birthday last Saturday. He's a great fan of Sasuke Uchiha from the Japanese Anime Naruto. We had a Japanese Theme party that day. From the decorations to the food to the kids dressing up with their Japanese or Japanese Cosplay costume. Everyone had a blast.

It was just a simple cake as I made it last minute. But just the smile on his face was enough to know that he loves it.

Chase's Disney Car Cake

Posted by Jeanette at 11:46 PM 1 comments

I'm lucky to be able to make this cake for Chase who celebrated his first birthday last Sunday. I just enjoyed the whole process from hand molding the cars and painting them one by one.

The Chase sign behind was digitally made by my multi-talented niece, Victoriette. She spent sometime to help me change the name from cars to Chase. Thanks dearie!!
2 tiered Chocolate Mud cake with a chocolate ganache filled with 2 layers of wafer for each tier. Something different from my usual, thanks to mummy Laura's superb idea. Work on this cake till 4am. Putting on the final touch.....just loving every second of it.

Close up of Mater the tow truck.
Close up of Lightning Mcqueen.

Happy Birthday Chase!! Hope you enjoyed your cake as much as I did making it for you!!
