Adrina's Princess Barbie Musketeer

I was asked by nice lady to make a barbie cake for her daughter. Adrina will turn 7 and she wanted a pink dress for her barbie. This is a Chocolate Mud Cake with rich chocolate ganache filling and topped with pink fondant.

Everything was handmade (except the doll). Even the earrings and tiara were made with sugarpaste and fondant. Hope the birthday girl loves this.

Luisa ordered some cupcakes for her dearest hubby. She asked for 6 Hot Chocolate and 6 Strictly Adults. Added some hearts for her as she asked if I could put some for her. The figurines are all additional for her. All again, hand molded with love...just enjoying every baking and decorating session.

Happy Anniversary Darling Hubby

Posted by Jeanette at 10:32 AM 2 comments

My hubby Mike and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary yesterday. While he was away for a course, I made this for him. Sadly, the holder was too small for all the cookies to get in so the rest just got into a tupperware. :)

Green ranger - Vivaan's cake

Posted by Jeanette at 10:23 AM 0 comments

A very adorable boy had his wish for his birthday. A green ranger cake. His lovely mummy called me to place an order for him. Requested a rich chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling with a green ranger on top.

This is a heavy cake although it is not that huge. Just a 8" and 10" round tier cake. The 10" itself is 3.7kgs and the 8" weigh almost 2kgs. I molded the ranger by hand and painted it. When Vivaan saw the ranger, immediately he took of one hand and bit into it.....poor ranger had only one hand before the party begun.

But I was glad when the mummy told me everyone loved the cake and it was a big hit with all the guests.

Chinese New Year 2010

Posted by Jeanette at 12:11 PM 0 comments

I'm been so busy this season. Don't know whether it's the baking or I really did overworked. Whatever it is, I had so much fun making those fondant cupcakes as well as those cookies and cakes. Another year has gone and the new one is here.

My 3 boys are so grown up now. The eldest in Primary 3, followed by K1 and Pre-Nursery. It's hectic being a mother of 3 but it is rewarding at the end of the day when they kiss and hug you and say 'I love you, mummy'. Those are the best gifts my boys can give me :)
