My rainbow M & M cupcakes

I made 4 batches of rainbow cupcakes today. The color is absolutely beautiful. Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red and Purple colours with M&Ms chocolate in between and on the top of the cuppies. Didn't put icing on them as kids preferred them with the M&Ms. Enjoyed the process thoroughly. Pictures will be up once I've downloaded them.

Kung Fu Panda Cake

Made this cake for Jayden's 4th birthday - Kungfu Panda 3D Cake. 2 tiered chocolate almond cake with nutella cream covered with rich chocolate fondant. This cake is exclusive to Fairy Cakehouse only.

Everything individually crafted made by hand, even the panda was made by fondant....check out the Panda "food" noodles and dimsums...

Naruto Ninja Cake

Made this for Miguel's 7th Birthday... his favourite cartoon character - Naruto!

Aqua Aerobics Cake

Made this cake for my aqua aerobics teacher's birthday. Fruit cake covered with sugarpaste.
Since the theme is Aqua aerobics, I decided to make a blue cake which represents the pool. Made some little decorations at the corners of the cake...students with their aqua noodles and swim caps.

Golden Anniversary Cake

A very intricate designed cake. This took me 2 days to finish from the baking to decorating. Simply enjoyed the process.

From the golden and pink lustre to the flowers and drapes, everything was made with lots
of love....

Final result......rich fruit cake covered with white sugarpaste. Designed with fantasy flower at the top with drapes, daisies and gold leaves. Butterflies and flower with borders imprinted.

Christmas Cuppies

Cuppies for Christmas. Made for family and good friends. Ginger and spice flavour with buttercream topping.

Mahjong Mint Cheesecake

Made this special cheesecake for a die hard mahjong fan. Mint flavor and all tiles are edible.

About Jeanette

Jeanette G : full time mother by day, baker for hire by night, erstwhile a high flying cabin crew - stumbled upon the world of food wonders through her three boys, - entering into this baking venture after much encouragement by friends, family, and consumer of Jeanette’s baking experiments. A few successful baking sessions later, the rest was history…

Although a devoted baker since the age of 16, Jeanette simply wasn’t ready to abandon the chic lifestyle of airlines industry for the high-stakes game of owning a bakery. But the creativity, the exchange, and the inspiration she found among her network– this was just the outlet she needed! In short order, Jeanette signed up for her very own blog, and Fairy Cakehouse was born that fateful day in Oct 2009.

Baking has taken residence in Jeanette’s day-to-day life. Fairy Cakehouse will hopefully evolve into a place to experiment, inspire, create, and share her work with others. Jeanette continues to lead a double-life as an ad-hoc baker and full-time mother to three boys, with certification from the renowned Wilton school in cake decorating and design.

Jeanette lives in Singapore with her loving deep-sea diving husband and three very active boys. She can be found between her school runs at various marketplace in the island city coveting finest ingredients.
